Cherry Insurance is proud to support the communities we work and live in. We’re always open to new ideas and looking for different ways to connect to our neighbourhoods.

Recently we’ve been seeking a new home for “Inarek” our friendly green alien and his crashed spaceship. In our search we came across the SCI-FI Science Camp. Hosted at the University of Saskatchewan, SCI-FI is staffed by Engineering, Computer Science, Education, Biology and Kinesiology students. They carry out classroom workshops, community programs, and science clubs. During the summer months of July and August, SCI-FI also holds eight weeks of camps at the College of Engineering.

The SCI-FI Science Camp was thrilled to give “Inarek” and his crashed ship a new home. In fact, last Saturday morning (December 4, 2010), the SCI-FI Kids Camp gave “Inarek” a warm welcome while they explored his ship.

SCI-FI Science Camps reach over 10,000 students with the message that science, engineering, and technology can be both educational and fun! Cherry Insurance is delighted to show our support to this group.

Inarek... we'll miss you!
